Steve Valdiserri is a healthcare and technology executive focused on operational excellence, value-based care strategy, and AI-driven healthcare innovation. With more than a decade of experience across provider organizations, health technology platforms, and advisory leadership, Steve is known for building scalable systems that improve performance, strengthen financial outcomes, and unlock measurable value. Steve began his healthcare career as one of the first ten employees at VillageMD in 2015. Over nearly a decade, he helped build the company’s operational and strategic foundations, advancing from manager to Vice President of National Strategies. During this period, he supported large-scale value-based care expansion, attribution strategy, operational scaling, and national growth initiatives across complex healthcare environments. Following his tenure at VillageMD, Steve launched a boutique advisory practice supporting digital health companies and value-based care organizations. He now serves as SVP of Operations at Avanti Strategy Group, a healthcare strategy and innovation firm that partners with organizations to solve real operational challenges, align financial performance, and implement scalable growth solutions. Steve’s work centers on leveraging data, analytics, and artificial intelligence to modernize healthcare delivery. He holds a professional certification in AI in Health Care: From Strategies to Implementation from Harvard Medical School’s Professional, Corporate, and Continuing Education program. His leadership philosophy combines disciplined execution with forward-thinking innovation. A graduate of DePauw University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Steve was a four-year varsity football letterman and senior team captain. His athletic background continues to shape his approach to leadership—emphasizing accountability, preparation, and resilience under pressure. Beyond his professional work, Steve is deeply committed to personal discipline and family leadership. He is an active HYROX competitor, trains daily, and is passionate about the “Food is Medicine” movement, advocating for systemic change in how nutrition intersects with chronic disease management in the United States. He is building a public voice around healthcare innovation, disciplined living, and high-performance leadership, with a long-term goal of mentoring and speaking to men striving to build stronger habits, structure, and purpose in their lives.
